Chittagong-- (UNB) – The two indexes at Chittagong Stock Exchange further declined yesterday (Sunday) with the losers outnumbering the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 5.40 points or 0.38 percent to close at 1401.64 points from Saturday’s 1407.04 points.

The selective index also declined by 8.37 points or 0.58 percent to close at 1430.60 points from Saturday’s 1438.97 points.

Of the 55 listed securities traded yesterday, 9 gained, 36 declined and 10 remained unchanged.

Some 396,235 shares and debentures valued at Tk 2.78 crore were transacted as against 407,347 shares worth at Tk 2.86 crore on the previous day.

National Credit (70,250), M Hossain (47,750), Miracle (43,000), Sinobangla (39,500) and Sajib Knitwear (22,650) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 57.45 billion from Saturday’s Tk 57.65 billion.
